Abstract: The name correction of Callopanchax sidibei into C. sidibeorum by the describers themselves based on the ICZN code interpretation is discussed. It is accepted because of the authors' quick reaction and because of a fair respect of their will, but with reservations because the ICZN was seemingly misunderstood or mistranslated which may lead to the reversed decision by the scientific community.
